What You Can Expect

Client’s of Shah Law Group can expect to be treated with respect and understanding.

If, after your consultation, you decide to retain our firm, you will be asked to sign a fee agreement. The fee agreement details the terms of our representation, along with the provision that a down-payment towards the costs of legal services (“retainer”) is usually required. This retainer is then placed in the firm’s escrow account. You will then receive a detailed monthly statement that lists all actions taken and costs incurred, which is then billed against you retainer in escrow. Any amount of money left in your account will be returned to you at the end of our services.

After retaining our services, you will be asked to attend a meeting with the lawyer to discuss and develop a legal strategy. We make it clear that it is the client’s duty to keep us updated on any new developments while we pledge to keep the client informed of any progress or changes in your case.
